The 323-acre park features ball fields for baseball, football, softball, lacrosse and soccer along with picnic areas and a wooded area. The Baltimore Ravens have developed a small portion of the park for spring training.

Pikesville is filled with designer shops and boutiques, coffee houses, gourmet markets and specialty shops. A farmer's market is open each week, spring through fall, in the Public Library parking lot. Pikesville offers easy access to the Beltway and is central to Baltimore City, Washington, D.C., and BWI Airport.
